Virgin Tucuma Butter (Astrocaryum tucuma) is a rare, nutrient-rich butter cold-pressed from the seeds of the Brazilian Amazon’s Tucuma palm. Closely related to the Murumuru palm, Tucuma is celebrated for its silicone-like texture, high emolliency, and antioxidant-rich profile that enhances both skin and hair health.

Its creamy, light-colored texture melts easily into the skin without clogging pores, leaving behind a soft, hydrated finish. Naturally high in lauric, myristic, and oleic acids, as well as carotenoids and Vitamin A, this butter supports elasticity, combats dryness, and restores vitality to dull or damaged skin and hair.

Formulation Notes

Natural butters and oils may melt during shipping or warm storage. When cooled, they can re-solidify with a slightly grainy texture or develop a thin white “fat bloom” — a harmless separation of stearic acid.

To restore a smooth consistency:

  1. Gently warm the butter until fully melted.
  2. Stir thoroughly.
  3. Cool rapidly or flash-freeze to re-solidify smoothly.

Please note: Returns are not accepted for natural variations in texture or appearance.

Natural Living Note

Tucuma Butter embodies the balance of high-performance natural formulation and eco-conscious sourcing — offering the softness of silicone, the nourishment of nature, and the radiance of the rainforest. It’s a versatile favorite for formulators who want natural luxury without compromise.
